Virginia One Week Pathologists' Assistant

      One week- Start Date March 14, 2022

7:30AM - 4PM. Private doctors' group within a community hospital. Solo PA covering daytime hours. There is a Night shift Histotech who will gross any additional biopsies or late breast cores. The specimens range from biopsies, breasts, kidneys, thyroids, lungs, some colon, even the occasional Whipple. The PA would also cover frozen sections (cryostats are in the gross room and the OR staff will usually bring specimens down, or the lab assistant will get it from the OR.) 1-2 autopsies per year.
