October 2022 - January 2023 start
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
- The position is in two locations approximately 1 block apart. 2 PAs. 4 pathologists. One histotechs is always at the bench in the hospital (main lab). The smaller lab does not have a tech to help with gross.
- Total of ~21,000 cases per year.
- No autopsies.
- Pathologists do all frozens.
- Hospital lab does GI biopsies, General Surgery cases (breast and bowel resections for tumors), OB/GYN, ENT, neurosurgery cases. They almost never do large tumor cases such as Whipple procedures or laryngectomies. The clinic lab does mainly dermatology cases and GYN outpatient specimens.
