Nice restaurants. Pleasant Summers! New hospital facilities! Friendly team of Pathologists and PAs.
Community/Regional with a cancer center. 2 PAs and 1GT. 8AM-5PM and possible Saturday half day rotation (Every third week and occasionally every other week). Monday-Friday and possible Saturday half day. ~40k specimens per year. Majority is bx such as GI. 5-10% more complex specimens including GI, GYN, GU, lung cancer. A few autopsies per month. Daily frozens, ranging from a few to 6 patients a day. Voice dictation is Fluency. EMR is Epic. Pathology software is called SoftPath.
